A new season!

It is the start of a new season, and we are busy organising the 2015 coaching programme. Winter is always quieter with fewer lessons because of the weather. That gives us time to sit down, exchange views and prepare for a busy year ahead.

First of all, it is important to put down in the diary the schemes that carry on from 2014:

Rookies

This is our juniors scheme, for children aged 8 to 15, on the waiting list and potentially about to become members. It is a ten week programme mostly playing on the golf course.Andy Chamberlain and myself will be running it this year. This is a great opportunity to see the juniors playing on the golf course rather than at the driving range.

Ladies

James O'Doherty also known as JP runs two sessions weekly at the RJGC, focusing on the short game. The hour long sessions are very popular, great fun, and a nice social way of learning the essential techniques. This is usually on Thursdays and Fridays.

Club Fitting

The launch of a new range of clubs is a great opportunity to set up a launch event at Longueville golf range. This is either run by us, or the company sends over a demo man; it is always very popular. We plan ten to twelve such events every year.

Individuals

Our most popular activity is the one to one lesson. When planning ahead, we make sure that our facilities are the best, our pricing is fair, and most importantly that our availability provides the best options for our students (after work, lunch time, week end and bank holidays). We can set up bespoke courses of lessons, using both Longueville golf range and the RJGC.
