Free inflight wifi offer with Samsung devices
AIX '14 Gogo has struck a deal with technology manufacturer Samsung to offer airline passengers a year's worth of free inflight internet.
Customers buying Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 or Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 models are now eligible for free wifi from Gogo, which can be used on up to 36 flights in a year.
The offer is embedded in the tablets prior to purchase, with users opening their browsers to take advantage of the
journey on a second by second basis. The app also enables airlines to connect with their passengers, optimise revenue potential on purchases pre- and post- flight, not just onboard; and also use the data from the device for future marketing purposes. VIP also helps airlines predict their
