What a lot we got!
Reflecting the continued growth and development of the aviation and allied industries in the Middle East, and particularly in Dubai as a major airline hub for the region, a new Travel Catering Expo has been launched.
Running in Dubai from May 11-13, the expo will co-locate with the Airport Show and the Global Airport Leaders' Forum. OnBoard Hospitality is pleased to be media sponsor of this event.
Meanwhile, Hamburg has taken all our attention and energy over the past months and in the production of this issue. It will be distributed in Dubai and worldwide to those who attended WTCE and AIX this year as well as to those were unfortunate enough to miss this headline event. The Taste of Travel Theatre has been acclaimed as a huge success and we thank the chefs, speakers, panelists and sponsors who made this such a special event, running throughout the WTCE and AIX shows. Worn, but not discouraged, our roaming reporters and photographers have summed up all the news, events, product launches and innovations throughout this review issue and we can reveal what the OBH team looked like on return from Hamburg Airport (see page 94)! Also, many thanks to the Hoffman team for their representation of an OnBoard Hospitality front cover in celebration of 20 years of publishing. We do like a bit of praise (see page 94).
