BA launches pre- flight cocktails


British Airways has unveiled a new cocktail created by the UK's Bartender of the Year 2013, Gareth Evans. The pre-flight cocktail will be served in the British Airways Concorde Room, at London Heathrow Terminal 5, and is named The Tanqueray BA175. Served in a champagne flute with equal 25ml measures of pink grapefruit juice, apricot liquor and Tanqueray No. TEN gin topped with champagne, it offers a playful twist on the classic French 75. ba.com

Munich ranks best in Europe


Munich Airport has been ranked as Europe's best airport for the seventh time in the World Airport Awards. The Bavarian hub also achieved the number three position in the global rankings. In its 'weight class' – airports with 30–40 million passengers a year – Munich Airport was actually number one in the world. Munich also scored highly in the global
