LARGE AT ICE Konami showed its latest multi-game platform at the ICE exhibition in London, the new SeleXion multi-game cabinet

Konami Gaming showcased its new multi-game solution at this year’s ICE with the SeleXion multi-game cabinet proving that if time waits for no man then no multi-game player should wait whilst switching games.

Matt Reback, Vice President of Marketing for Konami, said: “We’re very much focused on showing the global market that we are a company Born From Fun, and built to perform, demonstrating that games that are fun to play, perform, and games that perform are fun for operators to have on their floors. Our launch of SeleXion into an already busy multi-game market begs two questions; why and why now. Having watched the first movers launch, we wanted to make sure we came to market with an improved offer, so we’ve analysed what’s out in the market place and made what we feel to be the most needed change; eradicating the time it takes players to switch between games and killing that dead time as players watch the blue line of a new game download.”

As such SeleXion offers instantaneous switches between games, languages and denominations. It includes a dynamic button panel and a scrolling, multi-game attract mode designed to alert customers to the special functions available. Each multi-language SeleXion cabinet can feature up to 10 games with three denominations per game.

“We are basically offering everything that server gaming offers but at a game level,” Mr. Reback added. “This means greater flexibility for the operator and greater choice for the player resulting in a greater yield for the floor. We have our first placements going out in the US over the coming months.”

Elsewhere, Solstice Celebration, is a KP3 XtraReward video slot that brings the changing seasons to casinos with up to 40 free games that include nudging wild sun symbols. In addition to the free games, Solstice Celebration includes the Sparkle Feature where two or more reels showing full action stacked symbols are replaced by new symbols giving the player an extra chance to win even more.

product is based on the lasting success of products like Pirate’s Loot, Top Track, and Beat the Field, all designed to increase play and customer entertainment value on Konami machines.

Synkros True-Time Tournaments was recently recognised as one of the year’s most innovative systems products based on its ability to offer

operators player-on-demand tournaments via Konami’s proprietary True-Time Windowing technology. Operators appreciate the power offered by a system-delivered bonusing tournament that awards entries to players who demonstrate any of the unlimited desired behaviours, including property visits, earning points, celebrating a birthday at the property, or signing up for a new card.
