Review ICE TOTALLY GAMING

Dirk Geere, Michelle Schenk and Phil O’Toole with Venture to Never Isle ‘OUT OF THE BLUE’ AND ‘INTO THE FUN’ WITH IGT

Fun was the name of the game on IGT’s ever blue booth with game-based slots, skill-based slots and some of the most action-packed licences in the casino slot machine market at present

Eric Tom, IGT Executive Vice President of Global Sales, commented on ICE: "We're transforming the global gaming experience with bold new content, backed by truly international appeal. ICE Totally Gaming provides us with the exceptional opportunity to deliver the industry's most entertaining, cross-platform gaming experiences to the important European market. IGT is redefining gaming entertainment on land, online and on-the-go, and with our strong global footprint, we're uniquely positioned to deliver the experiences that players want, anytime, anywhere."

Standing tall before collapsing into nothing isn’t a usual attribute to be associated with a slot game, but with IGT's Jenga Tower of Money, it kind of comes with the territory.

This Premium title was making its world debut at ICE, inspired by the classic Jenga game of stacking and crashing. Bonus rounds give players the chance to pick the perfect piece of Jenga Tower of Money fun with the hopes the trademark tower does not topple over. Three scale-with-play jackpots make for a thrilling gaming experience for all player types.

Michelle Schenk, Public Relations Representative of Global Communications, said: “This is obviously a game based on fun. We felt it was important to have some world debuts in London to go with the raft of releases in Las Vegas at G2E and Jenga is a game known to international audiences the world over.”

Whilst Jenga Tower of Money is a fun game that plays with the idea of skill, IGT was also showing games devoted to it. Reel Edge Atari Centipede takes players back to the 80's with a classic Atari favourite.

Ms Schenk explained: “Reel Edge games are the only slot games that reward 100 per cent based

on skill. The player has complete control over what they win in the bonus round with every level they complete taking them to another level of progressive jackpot. If they don’t fancy their chances of grabbing the joystick and navigating through the screen they can simple opt for free games instead, but most players will chose to go back to their youth and choose to blast the centipede.”

Similarly, Aladdin Prince of Adventure, another game making its world debut at ICE, uses the skill-based Reel Edge joystick. Players control their bonuses by navigating a magic carpet through the Aladdin skill bonus round, collecting coins in an attempt to boost their win.

Building on the success of MutiPlay video, the first in the industry to allow four reel sets to be played at the same time, IGT was also showing Winner’s Choice.

George Paterakis, Systems Director at IGT Europe, said: “Winners Choice was amongst the games that generated most interest at G2e in Las Vegas.
