WILLIAMS INTERACTIVE ROLLS OUT RAGING RHINOS AND ZEUS III

The roll-out of mobile games was continuing at ICE for Williams Interactive with the latest games Zeus III and Raging Rhino taking the portfolio of games to seven, alongside the promise of its first mini-game.

Zeus III is the first game online to be powered by the gambler-favourite Reel Boost game engine. Zeus III is available in both desktop and mobile- optimised versions for gaming sites integrated with the Williams Interactive Remote Game Server. With a mythical Greek-inspired theme, Zeus III features an innovative 6-reel game layout with two symbols on the first reel and seven symbols on the sixth reel, offering 192 winning possibilities on each spin. This volatile game engine includes a unique flipped-reel mechanic, where the sixth reel becomes the first and vice-versa during the free spin bonus, giving players an increased chance at line wins each bonus spin.

markets where we now it will perform well.”

The three-reel mechanical Blade Stepper cabinet was also unveiled in London for the first time.

“We released Bluebird in 2003 followed by Bluebird 2 in 2008 so the launch of Blade was ideally timed,” Mr. Littleworth said. “The cabinet was rolled out in March and has been eagerly snapped up by all of our main customers in the US. The Blade stepper was designed to combine the authenticity and thrill reserved for classic mechanical reel play along with the latest features that fit seamlessly on today’s casino floors. It has provided an opportunity to modernise the stepper. It still has traditional look, such as with the paytable, the LED Meter, the trim lighting and the big, bold three reels but it delivers some exciting new bonus games that will resonate with gambler slot players. Games are available in both high and low denominations, one to five pay-line games, familiar reel symbols.”

New stepper games shown in London included Roll 7, 7 Wheel Hot, After Shock and Spy Versus Spy.

Tom Wood, Director Casino Product Management, said: “Our continued success deploying games that feature very unique appearances and innovative play mechanics, like recent hits Spartacus Gladiator of Rome and Elvis: The King Lives encourages our belief that online players will likewise find Zeus III an extremely entertaining casino experience. It is completely unlike anything available online today. By launching the game for players on desktop, tablets, and smart phones, we’re providing this premium slot experience to players wherever they prefer to play – at home or on the go.”

Following the launch, Zeus III is now available for roll out on the dozens of gaming sites integrated with the Williams Interactive Remote Game Server.

Rory Shanahan, Head of Marketing at Williams Interactive, said: “It’s early days yet but feedback regarding Zeus III has exceeded expectation. A desktop version will follow soon.”

IN another first, Raging Rhino marked the first entry into the Williams Interactive games roadmap from sister company WMS Gaming’s Blade cabinet series.

Mr. Shanahan said: “The Blade series has proved really popular with land-based casino players in

its first year so we’re delighted to be taking it across our interactive platforms. It is powered by the Any Way game engine providing 4,096 winning possibilities on each spin, another first for interactive. Raging Rhino is fun and volatile with a really solid maths model with players able to win massive amounts from very small bets. It is designed for wide screen with high resolution so it is ideal for mobile. Both of these themes are planned to launch in MiniGames format as well, empowering gaming sites to drive incremental revenue from their non-casino player activity through this exciting content distribution channel.

Other games from this series coming to the Williams Interactive catalogue include Montezuma, a Wheel Bonus game, and Lunaris, built on the Colossal Reels game engine.

Williams Interactive has focussed on providing compelling player experiences through very differentiated slot launches. This strategy has seen the company launch many of its more unique, innovative game engines, with multiple hits including KISS: Shout it Out Loud! and Spartacus Gladiator of Rome built on the Colossal Reels game engine, and ELVIS: THE KING Lives built on the Double Money Burst game engine. Early performance from the 3rd game built on the Colossal Reels engine, Giant’s Gold, have it continuing the streak of hit launches in the latter half of 2013 for the provider of authentic Vegas- style online slot content.
