13 Cookies cut the biscuit
A new range of MiniBite cookies comes in four flavours, developed specifically to cater for the American and Canadian inflight market. The oatmeal and raisin, double chocolate and chocolate chunk flavours are Kosher, nut- and cholesterol-free with no trans-fat. The 1oz portions of crispy baked choc chip mini cookies are also nut-free, without cholesterol, US-made and Kosher. They are distributed by AMI Inflight and Hoppe.

15 El Pinto gets saucy
El Pinto Restaurant in Albuquerque's north Valley, has been a fixture since twins John and Jim opened it in 1962. It has become famous for its Salsa and Green Chile Sauce. Now there are six flavours of sauce available by the jar including El Pinto Chipolate Salsa, Taco Salsa and Red Chile Salsa, plus a salsa available for snacking onboard.

16 Hummous goes Wild
Wild Garden has expanded its range of single serving hummous packs designed to share the flavours of the Mediterranean with those on the move. Made from pureed chick peas and sesame paste there are eight flavours in jars, and three flavours of single serve tubes and three flavours of combo packs which pair the hummus with multi-grains pita chips. Single serve portions come in sun dried tomato, roasted garlic and traditional flavours. They are promoted as the only dips of their kind on the market with a shelf life of two and a half years.
