Finnair works with top Finnish chefs


As part of a meal service renewal underway at Finnair, Business customers will be able to enjoy new Signature Menus created by well-known Finnish chefs Pekka Terävä and Tomi Björck.

Björck, whose menu is inspired by Thai and Japanese food and offers both meat-based dishes and vegetarian options, such as butternut squash dressed in a symphony of Asian spices. Japanese ramen noodles and


spicy salmon complete his menu. Specially selected prize-winning wines complement both Signature Menus. The menus will be introduced on Finnair's Business long haul flights throughout the autumn excluding Chongqing, Xi´an and Hanoi. Finnair.com

Tomi Björck’s award-winning restaurants in Helsinki include the Asia-inspired Farang and Gaijin as well as the Mediterranean-focused Boulevard Social. Farang Stockholm opened in February 2013.


Pekka Terävä is chef at Helsinki’s Michelin- starred Restaurant Olo, where fresh and pure ingredients are combined to create modern Scandinavian cuisine.
