Seamless change at Dennyʼs Uniforms
N
ick Jubert, Dennyʼs Uniformsʼ MD for the past 16 years, liked the business so much – he bought the company. Formerly in family
ownership, Nick is now taking Dennyʼs to a new chapter in its 170 year history. Along with sales director, Dominic Green, the staff in Londonʼs Soho and city shops and the Leatherhead HQ and distribution centre, they will continue supplying the hospitality market with uniforms from stock.
When the family voted to sell their shareholding, this seemed a good opportunity for Nick to acquire the family interest; having been in workwear manufacture all his life and building the Dennyʼs reputation for technical innovation, design and quality, Nick is confident of a seamless change.
“This exciting opportunity to streamline operations and continue our innovative designs through developing our brands Dennyʼs, Le Chef, AFD and Comfort Grip catering shoes feels right. “Over the years, we have built up reliable manufacturing partnerships and will continue to offer technical, leading edge design and stock on demand. Dominic Green and I are looking forward to business as usual – with a renewed vigour.” ■ For more information about Dennyʼs visit

Beechfield B181 cap conquers Everest
B
eechfield is feeling ʻon top of the worldʼ with its B181 Coolmax Sports Cap having made it to the summit of Mount Everest.
The brand is supporting a fundraising trip by the charity, St. James's Place Foundation, which set out to raise £500,000 through the sponsorship of a 26-strong team that would undertake the 120-mile trek to Everest Base Camp, and a subsequent ascent to the summit of Everest by a small climbing team. Beechfield issued all of the participants with a logoed B181 Coolmax Sports Cap to wear on their adventure.
Headed by celebrated climbing guide, Kenton Cool (the only European to summit Everest nine times and to summit twice in a season), the trekkers completed the hike to Everest Base Camp by mid-May, and the climbing team completed the climb to the summit on May 25
after a gruelling night time ascent. Roger McHugh, Beechfieldʼs managing director, comments: “We are proud and delighted to have been able to support the St. James's Place Foundation Everest Expedition, which has already exceeded its fundraising target, generating an estimated £700,000 for charitable causes. Everyone at Beechfield wishes to congratulate the team on its admirable achievement. “Weʼre also delighted that the B181s performed as expected and came through what is undoubtedly the toughest ever headwear field trial with glowing colours!” ■ To view the B181 Coolmax Sports Cap in 360-degrees and all of its available colours, visit the Beechfield website:

Bespoke sportswear features in film T
eam Colours has proudly announced its involvement in athletics clothing production for the new UK film Fast Girls, directed by Regan Hall and starring Noel Clarke and Lenora Crinchlow. The company, which specialises in custom made sportswear, was asked to create bespoke athletics tops for the GB team and print flags onto various other national teamsʼ garments. There was also a series of custom tracksuits produced for nations featured in the film including Great Britain, as the film has an Olympic theme.
The film follows a group of female athletes in

training for a summer tournament from vastly different backgrounds, and was due to be released this summer around the time of the Olympics in London.
The opportunity to showcase garments on the big screen is a great honour, the company said, and will hopefully do justice to the quality of the custom manufacture and printing on display. ■ For more information visit www.team-
