Avery Dennison leverages the latest advances in heat transfer technology, with its experience working with global workwear and aftermarket companies to offer embellishment solutions of exceptional quality.
Along with an elevated level of design flexibility, Avery Dennisonʼs heat transfer solutions offer ease of application, durability and cost-efficiency to elevate companies through the walking billboard that is a uniform.
The hallmark of this portfolio is the companyʼs proprietary Agility adhesive system, which combines the highest quality digital image with high performance adhesives to create embellishments that are stretchable, comfortable and wonʼt crack or peel after repeated washing. The Agility adhesive system gives companies the freedom to embellish garments with a higher level of design by allowing for application on the widest possible range of fabrics, and uses water-based technology to help protect the environment. Within the Agility portfolio resides the companyʼs Agility High Definition (HD) Heat Transfers, designed to bring a heightened level of image clarity, depth and special effects never before possible for maximum brand recognition and reinforcement.
Agility HD is an increasingly popular method of embellishment because of its ability to mimic expensive traditional embroidery effects while providing a more cost-effective manufacturing solution. Agility HD transfers can be applied in- house with a pneumatic press, resulting in an accelerated turnaround time and enhanced branding capabilities. Avery Dennison has also recently introduced its new Agility Reflective Heat Transfers. These highly-reflective, silver transfers are designed for external embellishments and main labels, where a high level of reflectivity is required (Retroreflectivity rating = minimum >330).
