stablished late in 2005, Absolute Apparel has developed continually to become one of the most dynamic wholesalers in this market. Having a very pure and focused product range, the company offers functional leisure, corporate and workwear clothing from stock.

The strategy has proven very successful as the business has become one of the fastest growing wholesalers in the activewear sector. Now in its fourth expansion programme in seven years Absolute will now be able to hold double its current inventory and therefore offer an even better service to its valued client base. “We have always wanted to concentrate on the basic T shirt, sweatshirt and polo shirt sectors and not diversify into so many areas that our range becomes confusingly large without any direction,” comments MD, Frank Jheinga. He continues: “We carry the basics and do them very well, core products in core colours, held in depth – thatʼs our goal. Displayed in a clear and concise catalogue, customers can make their buying decisions without confusion and order safe in the knowledge that it will be delivered the next morning.”

The company has invested heavily in IT and warehouse logistics to allow it to offer a service level that is second to none. As an ISO 9000:2001 accredited company since 2006, Absolute Apparel is proud to boast order accuracy levels of 99.97%. Frank adds: “We have put in resilient systems to control our accuracy, backed up with committed people throughout the organisation who pride themselves on the quality of their work.” Absolute Apparel imports its own brand of high quality value driven garments from all over the globe, and currently majors in polos, sweats, fleece and woven workwear. The sourcing division applies the same ideals as the wholesale division so as to produce some of the best quality products in the current market place. The supply chain is robust and is supported by quality vendors around the world. Compliance is not an issue as the company uses factories that are SA8000, WRAP or ISO 9000:2001 certified. Most of the polo shirts are in 50/50 polyester cotton offering exceptional performance when washing, making them very attractive options for the workwear market. The Atlas polo was introduced

FUNCTIONAL: Absolute Apparel focuses on delivering a great range of leisure, corporate and workwear clothing from stock.

this year in 65% polyester/35% cotton and is uncompromised at its price point. Absoluteʼs sweatshirt styles are also a firm favourite, with crews, V-necks, pullover hoods and zip through hoods all being featured. Over the years, outdoor fleece has become a ʻcrossoverʼ style that bridges the gap between a light jacket and sweatshirt. “We have fully exploited this sector and offer fleece in four weights from 280gsm – 380gsm, with one padded version.” The styles are supported by a comprehensive range of workwear, combat and action trousers. Next year, the company will add corporate shirts, trousers, ties and soft shells to its line. “Now we have the space to stock these new items, I am sure we can improve our market share in these sectors too,” noted Frank. “As with the existing range we will develop the garments with quality and wearability in mind first, but as always at great value. We donʼt use middle men, and we distribute ourselves – this allows us to pass those savings on in our attractive pricing!” he said.

Absolute is more than happy to manage bespoke programmes, where its clients can benefit from the companyʼs global buying power and expertise. This is a truly bespoke option where garments can be sourced from the best factories with a host of branding options available, allowing you to maximise margin while remaining competitive. You can be sure that Absolute Apparel will never offer this service to any end user. As one of Gildanʼs main distributors Absolute has noticed an increasing demand for these garments. Frank comments: “Gildan is becoming ever more popular for us, and the need to hold deeper than ever stock is one of the main factors in us making the decision to expand. Gildan has an unrivalled range of colours, with some T shirts offering 55 colour options!” The company will relocate to its new warehouse in August 2012, and all customers are more than welcome to come and visit this new facility and see the team in action.
