Sublimated kit is made easy with new designs
A world of possibilities for bespoke sportswear T
eam Colours have launched a new range of sublimated sports kit designs and options, making their bespoke manufacture more unique than ever. For the first time dresses, skirts, polo shirts and regular sports kits can all be made with the benefit of high quality sublimation printing to just about any requirements. Hertfordshire-based sportswear manufacturers Team Colours are specialists in fully bespoke sports and leisurewear manufacture. Since their foundation in 2000, the aim has always been to meet specific customer requirements so that teams can look their best before, during and after matchday.
The appeal of creating traditional stitched kits for a range of sports such as netball, football, rugby, basketball, cricket and hockey
mean teams can look their best and stand out from the rest.
Now with sublimation printing that philosophy allows new options and adds a whole new world of bespoke possibilities. Sublimation printing is a unique process whereby a designʼs colours are printed directly into the fabric of a plain polyester garment. The finish is unlike any other type of print and guarantees bright colour, fixed artwork and no wear or fade over time. The capabilities of the process mean that virtually anything can be put into a design, which has obvious appeal for sportswear. For the first time designs can have faded colours and watermarks, text and images embedded, even photographs included with sponsor artwork and club logos, meaning also lower costs when adding lots of printing. Teams can combine stripes
and shapes of all colours and sizes that can overlap and fade into one another, without any need for patches or linings to add numbers and make the kits heavier. Team Coloursʼ new
sublimated range comes with new designs and options. Customers are encouraged to draw up any design possible which can be printed into their team kits, but as well as that there is now the option to adapt any of Team Coloursʼ existing team kit designs into a sublimated style and even a new range of sublimated designs for rugby, netball and football.
There is also added appeal that teams can combine styles such as dresses, leotards and kits with the same team design, so everyone plays in a kit that suits them. ■ For more information about Team Coloursʼ sublimated options call 01920 876241 or mail

ROBUST: The new Mascot Danville Boilersuit is suitable for heavy industry.
| 10 | August 2012
In response to the overwhelming success of the industry range Mascot has added two new lines to it. Mascot Danville Boilersuit and Biloxi Trousers. Made from 100% cotton, the stitching is robust triple stitched with ergonomically formed trouser legs. The 100% cotton fabric is particularly suitable for heavy industry working for example with welding, because the sparks will not penetrate and melt the fabric.
Fastening with storm flap and press studs
(hidden to avoid risk of scratching or catching) and to give the product longer shelve life, allows for quick removal in case of fire. These products have adjustable knee pad pockets and the new designed fitting gives extra space and comfort to work in different positions. All Industry products have been developed with the industrial launderer in mind. The range has been tested to ISO 15797 which includes vigorous testing of dimensional stability, colour fastness, creasing and seam puckering. ■ Visit
