Savannah, GA, Lodge hosted a Father-Daughter Dance for more than 150 scouts from the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia and their fathers. The event featured dancing, desserts, and beverages. Pictured are scouts Kristen (left) and Laura Ragan with their father, PER Thomas Ragan.


York, NE, Lodge members participated in a ceremony held by the local Lions Club for more than 100 fifth-grade students from area elementary schools. Lodge members, with the help of scouts from Boy Scout Troop No. 174, displayed each historic US flag and the POW/MIA flag and briefly explained the history of each flag.


Tahoe/Douglas, NV, Lodge held a Sock Hop fund-raiser and raised more than $1,600 for the state major project, Safe Haven, which provides shelter to abused and neglected children. More than 80 people at- tended the event, which featured dinner, dancing, and music provided by a DJ.


Nashua, NH, Lodge held two High School Football and Cheerleaders Banquets for students from Nashua South High School and Nashua North High School. Between the two events, more than 375 football players, cheerleaders, school officials, coaches, and lodge members attended the dinners. Lodge members also gave away three basketballs and three soccer balls at each dinner.


Edison, NJ, Lodge members distrib- uted 19 dictionaries to third-grade students at St. Matthew School. The

Howell, NJ, Lodge members presented a certificate to representatives of the Ramtown-Howell Volunteer Fire Company in recognition of the com- pany’s service to the community.


Lacey, NJ, Lodge held a Community Heroes Appreciation Ceremony. About


25 first responders and guests enjoyed dinner followed by an awards cer- emony. Lodge members presented certificates to representatives of seven local emergency services organizations and made a donation of $200 to each of the organizations.
