Fullerton, CA, Lodge held a Dinner for the family of Faith Green, an 11-year- old girl with Down’s syndrome. Following the dinner, lodge members gave Faith a large dollhouse, several other toys, and a gift card and gave her mother a bouquet of flowers.
Hemet, CA, Lodge held a Concert fund-raiser and raised $3,000 for lodge scholarships. The event featured a dinner followed by a performance by a live band.

Lake Havasu City, AZ, Lodge donated $920 to help build the new Tinnell Memorial Sports Park. Funds for the donation came from the lodge’s Pearl Harbor Golf Tournament fund-raiser. The lodge also donated $120 to the Lake Havasu High School baseball team, $200 to the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department to support a youth basketball program, and $200 to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Phoenix, to aid the society’s food bank. In other news, lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Joey Dewey, of Boy Scout Troop No. 55, and presented him with a certificate and a US flag. For his Eagle Scout Project, Dewey installed a handrail along a steep path on the grounds of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
Bakersfield, CA, Lodge held its annual Underprivileged Children’s Luncheon, which more than 390 children attended. Guests were treated to lunch, visited Santa, and were given a gift and a bag of snacks. Pictured with Santa (lodge member William Duncan) is one of the guests.
In other news, lodge members distributed nearly 3,000 dictionaries to third-grade students in 27 Kern County schools. Lodge members were assisted in the distribution by scouts from lodge-sponsored Fire Department Explorers Troop No. 911.

Coalinga, CA, Lodge held a Dinner and Piggy Bank Night fund-raiser and raised nearly $830 for the state major project, which provides in-home therapy to children with special needs.
