Moving Forward 前进


Like the first successful pour of an engineered, complex


casting, the first issue of Global Casting Magazine, published this summer, was a major step for its collaborators. But it was still only the beginning. Now we—Foundry-Planet. com, China Foundry Association and MODERN CAST- ING—are moving forward with production, motivated by that first successful pour to continue our goal of providing metalcasting best practices to our readers worldwide. In every future issue we hope to follow the guidelines set forth in our first issue: to instill knowledge about how to improve quality, production, energy efficiency and safety through our global collaboration. Tis summer, the GIFA show in Dusseldorf, Germany,


provided the perfect opportunity to unveil the first results of our partnership. See the video of the ceremony below.
