Le Rêve @ Café de Paris Fridays 19:00-03:00
Sample old-style French glamour right here in London
Le Rêve’s Friday nights at Café de Paris provide a weekly al- ternative to London’s mainstream clubs. Inspired by the Bur- lesque grandeur of French 19th century cabarets, Le Rêve (‘The Dream’) offers a quality, retro-flavoured show in a refined atmosphere oozing with sensuality, elegance and luxury. Half- way between the Golden Age of the Moulin Rouge and Dita Von Teese’s contemporary shows, Le Rêve is the way to end your banal working week on a sophisticated high. Dinner and a Burlesque stage show followed by the Vaudeville themed club night cost £45 (£12 without dinner).

REVIEW
Mahiki @ Henley-On-Thames Wednesday 3rd August
Aloha! Mahiki takes the party to the river for 2011’s Hen- ley Royal Regatta
It has now been three years since Gorilla Events joined forces with west London’s famous nightclub, Mahiki, to transfer the Tiki paradise to a large, river-side marquee for the five day Henley Royal Regatta. From Wednesday 29th June to Sunday 3rd July, the cocktails flowed, the grill was operating at full force and the beautiful people crammed into the tent to dance drunkenly to the cheesy floor-fillers. Mahiki may be like honey to a bee for the swarms of celebrities that frequent the Polynesian oasis, but it remains refreshingly care-free and one of the few clubs in Lon- don that doesn’t enforce a guestlist policy. The atmosphere was playful, the party was pumping and the boater brigade was nowhere to be seen amongst the crowd of bobbing heads and waving arms. So if you thought you would feel like a fish out of water amid the palm trees, tropical flowers and upturned collars, think again.
