Grime faithfuls everywhere were outraged when, on the 16th June 2011, Grime Daily’s YouTube videos disappeared from the Internet with no warning. YouTube stated that the account was terminated due to violations of their guidelines; rumours were rife speculating the real cause. Now TGN has tried to break it down for you. It was thought that the termination of Grime Daily’s account was due to their posting of Grime MC Scorchers’ video for ‘96 Bars of Revenge’, which shows a man waving a knife around in the background. It turns out that

Scorcher’s video was posted on his own YouTube channel, but was taken down anyway and now Grime Daily’s channel has been closed. Due to legal reasons, no information on the real reason has been provided, and those involved are just calling it a ‘miscommunication’. A pretty damaging one if you ask us. YouTube has stripped all

established and up-and-coming MCs on the channel of their video hits which we all know is vital to create a buzz. Grime Daily, which featured Ghetts’s ‘Who’s On The Panel’ and videos from LowKey and Akala amongst others, had almost 40 million hits; without it,

young artists could miss out on the chance of a lifetime. Now, Chantelle Fiddy, a well known journalist and supporter of UK music, has started a twitition (a Twitter petition) to get the channel, with all its video hits, reinstated. Until then, Grime Daily’s website is still up and running and all new videos will be uploaded there. Make sure you sign the twitition and help out Grime Daily; they might help you out one day!

KEEP IT FRESH WITH RETARDEX!

They say the Devil is in the details and when it comes to breath, they might just be right You can look as stylish as you like, wear your heels as high as you like and pull out moves to make Jackson (posthumously) turn green with envy, but the crucial moment with a prospective someone will be blighted if your greeting is accompanied by the eau de festering mongrel emanating from your glossed lips. Our advice? First off, stop kidding yourself; chewing gum on the way to the club is not going to cut it. There is a whole range of products to choose from so if you’re the organised type incorporate the RetarDEX Toothpaste and RetarDEX Oral Rinse into your pre-party prep. These contain a patented ingredient that is clinically proven to eliminate the compounds in your mouth causing bad breath, leaving your mouth fresh for the night. No excuses not to then! Get on down to Boots and selected Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, Superdrug, Ocado.com and all good pharmacies and dental surgeries. Final tip; pick up some RetarDEX Oral Spray at the same time and get your breath fresh in time to chat up the sales assistant. To find out more visit the website at www.retardex.co.uk
