Join us at LymanWoods for exciting summer day (and night!) camps for kids. Summer camps at LymanWoods are packed with outdoor adventures, crafts, games andmore! Each camp is taught by a Natural Areas Instructor and is designed to encourage play in nature while introducing age-appropriate nature and science concepts. All campsmeet at theWilliamF. Summer Bird Walk new!
Join the DuPage Birding Club for a guided bird walk to search for nesting birds at LymanWoods! The walk will leave fromthe front porch of the Interpretive Center, and binoculars will be provided to participants who do not have their own. The bird walk is free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Please call the Interpretive Center at 630.963.9388 to register for the program. Families with children ages 8 years and older are welcome. Space is limited, so register soon!

R.E.A.P. (Restore, Educate & Preserve)
R.E.A.P. is a volunteer group dedicated to restoring and protecting the natural areas managed by theDownersGrove ParkDistrict. Volunteers assist the district’s staff in land management activities and teaching outdoor education and recreation programs at both LymanWoods and the Belmont Prairie.
R.E.A.P. volunteers gain personal satisfaction fromdoing work that benefits the community while cultivating lasting friendships with others who share their concern for the environment.Volunteers also “reap” the benefits of an annual appreciation event.
