2nd Annual Junior Championship
This 9-hole stroke play tournament is for youth golfers. There are separate flights for girls and boys according to the following age groups: 11 to 13 years old, 14 to 16 years old and 17 to 19 years old. Registration fee includes greens fees, lunch and awards. Test your golf game against the best youths in the western suburbs. Tee times begin at 1:00 pmand continue until all golfers have teed off. Registration can bemade online at
www.dgparks.org or in person at the Golf Club, Lincoln Center or Recreation Center.
Registration deadline is Sunday, July 11. Rain date isWednesday, July 28.

Calling all couples! This tournament will be the event of the summer featuring an alternate shot format. Encourage friends and neighbors to sign up.Tee times start at 3:00 pmand continue until all groups have teed off. Call the clubhouse after July 5 to receive your tee time. Fee includes greens fees and prizes. Rain date is July 17.

Over 120 kids participated in the 2009 junior league. Tee times begin at 11:00 amand groups typically go out in order of age and ability. All 11-year-oldsmust have prior approval fromgolf course management to participate. Participants are required to be at the course 30minutes before their tee time on the first week of the league to go over rules. Parent/Child Group Golf Lessons
Learn the great game of golf with your child.Classes accommodate all levels of golfing experience. Topics covered include grip, stance, swing, club selection, ball striking and basic etiquette and rules. Concepts covered include putting, irons, sand play and woods. Studentsmust provide their own clubs and should bring a putter to the first class. Classes are taught by JimFestle, Professional Golf Teachers and Coaches of America certified instructor. We encourage attendance at all classes as there are nomake-up sessions. Register online at
