Annual Husband/Wife Golf Scramble
Calling all couples! This tournament will be the event of the summer featuring an alternate shot format. Encourage friends and neighbors to sign up. Tee times start at 3:00 pmand continue until all groups have teed off. Call the clubhouse after July 5 to receive your tee time. Fee includes greens fees and
prizes. Rain date is July 17.

Teen Battle of the Bands
The 3rd Annual Teen Battle of the Bands features five local teen bands performing throughout the evening in the Lincoln Center auditorium. Bands are judged onmusicality, originality, stage presentation and overall performance. The winning band will compete in the regional Battle of the Bands competition through the Illinois Parks and Recreation Association. The winning band will also performa 30minute set on August 3 in Fishel Park as a part of our Outdoor Concert Series. Bands interested in competing should fill out an application available at
www.dgparks.org and return to the Lincoln Center by June 4. Children 12 years and undermust be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.Doors open at 4:30 pm.

Annual Junior Championship
This 9-hole stroke play tournament is for youth golfers. There are separate flights for girls and boys according to the following age groups: 11 to 13 years old, 14 to 16 years old and 17 to 19 years old. Registration fee includes greens fees, lunch and awards. Test your golf game against the best youths in the western suburbs. Tee times begin at 1:00 pmand continue until all golfers have teed off. Registration can bemade online at

Derby
Reel in three hours of family fun at the Annual Fishing Derby. Prizes are awarded for the shortest and the longest fish caught by each age level. The Downers GroveMoose Rod and Gun Club and the Downers Grove Park District co-sponsor this annual event. A fishing license is required for participants 16 years and up. Licenses can be purchased at
K-Mart,Wal-Mart or Sportmart. Register at Barth Pond on the day of the derby.
