Men’s Fall Basketball League
Ourmen’s basketball league is for players who want to participate in a traditional open-paced league. Each teamplays a ten-game regular season onMonday nights followed by a season ending tournament. League play is governed by I.H.S.A. rules and regulations with local exceptions adopted.
Registration for the league is accepted as follows:
Resident Teams (60%of teammembersmust pay taxes to the park district or be employed in Downers Grove)may register beginning Monday, July 5 at 9:00 am.
Nonresident Teamsmay register beginningMonday, July 19. Roster forms are available at
www.dgparks.org, at Lincoln Center, and the Recreation Center.

Adult Volleyball Leagues
More than 800men and women of different skill levels play in the Downers Grove Park District’s leagues forMen’s, Women’s Competitive,Women’s Recreational, and Co-Rec teams. Approximately 10 weeks of play are scheduled for each league. All games are officiated with USVA rules.Men’s, Women’s Competitive and Recreational, and Co-Rec games are held onMonday,Wednesday and Friday evenings, respectively. League play is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of September 6.
The league fee for the fall 2010 season is $R/NR: $325/$425.

Adult Basketball
Whether you are trying to get in shape or stay in shape, this popular programoffers a fun and easy way to achieve your goal. This self-paced programis ideal for a wide range of participants and provides an excellent combination of fun and exercise. Players participate in a shoot around followed by pick-up style games.

Registration deadline is August 15. Teams registering prior to August 15 will be guaranteed a place in the league.
Roster forms are available at Lincoln Center, the Recreation Center or at
www.dgparks.org. A $100 entry fee, roster (name, address and signatures) and proof of residency or employment in Downers Grove for new resident participants are due at the time of registration.
Individuals wishing to be placed on a teammay call the park district at 630.960.7250 before August 20 and leave their name and phone number to be given to any captain requesting additional players.
