All Breeds All Britain Calf Show


The best calves and showmen descended on The Three Counties Showground for this year’s national fi nals. Lynholme Glauco Pledge secured overall calf championship, while Rebecca Channing clinched the showmanship honours.

Eastknook herd


Richard Pottow is focussed on the average days in milk of the Eastknook herd that he runs alongside brothers Robert and Nick and nephew Jamie.


Vortex herd


Keeping the herd young and fertile is the focus of Tom King who runs the 570-head Vortex herd in Dorset with his father Alan and mother Maggie.


Darrahill herd


The Barron family use both technological and manual methods to maintain a low calving index in their Aberdeenshire- based Darrahill herd.
