Although numbers were down, the young breeders and their calves qualified for the All Breeds All Britain Calf Show at Three Counties Showground in October. The following went through and on the day stood half way on the final line ups as well as putting together an eye catching stand.
Qualifying in the intermediate showmanship was George Plester, Michael Houghton stood reserve champion and qualified in the senior section, champion showman was mature showman Andrew Sutton and James Showell stood honourable mention.
Champion calf was the July born Moordown Destry Zindra, also qualifying were Moordown Atwood Blossom in the baby class, Moordown Braxton Playmate in the December and January born class, October born Moordown Pan Gem and August born Wetherton Delta Jolie. Well done to Sarah Sutton and her fellow team members on their achievements in Belgium in early September, with Sarah coming an outstanding fourth in the Showmanship Class. Sarah has also been chosen to represent the UK at The Royal Winter Fair, Toronto in November, on the Semex Walk of Fame showcasing Semex progeny.
