n 2 & 3 October, The National Franchise Exhibition will once again invite aspiring
entrepreneurs to discover their next venture. The UK’s flagship franchise event will showcase over 100 brands catering to all budgets, interests and ambitions, including: McDonald’s, Anytime Fitness, Greene King, Home Instead, Clip ‘n Climb, and many others. This is a unique opportunity to meet the people behind leading franchise brands, learn more about the business model and discover the wide range of opportunities the sector presents. The event is exclusively supported by
the British Franchise Association (BFA) who will host a series of panel discussions to provide a gateway to the industry for those considering investing in a franchise or franchising an existing business. Visitors will have access to over 50 free educational talks across two days – covering everything from accessing finance to the practicalities of investing in a franchise. This year’s keynote highlights include Anisa Khan, founder of viral culinary brand Bombay Pizza and 2025 The Apprentice finalist. On Friday 2 October from 13:00, she’ll share her journey from ‘From solo to scale: A founder’s playbook for growth'. On Saturday 3 October at 12:15, serial
entrepreneur and former Dragons’ Den Investor, Piers Linney, will deliver ‘Putting AI to work’, exploring how businesses can use AI to work smarter, boost performance and unlock new opportunities. Other event highlights include the McDonald’s Insights Sessions which shed light on what it takes to be part of one of the world’s biggest brands, and the Barclays Finance Clinic, where visitors can receive expert, one-to-one financial advice tailored to their business goals. There will also be a range of industry experts, including the British Franchise Association, on hand to offer free, impartial advice on all aspects of franchising. For existing franchisees looking to
take their business to the next level, the Multi-unit Franchise Conference, sponsored by Akerman, provides an opportunity to learn from some of the sector’s most experienced operators. Established multi-unit franchisees and representatives from brands including Itsu, Bluebird Care and Black Sheep Coffee will share their experiences and insights into building and scaling a successful franchise portfolio.
