INTRODUCTION CLASS ACTIVITY
Castlerock United FC had a great season the year before. In August, the committee met and agreed to spend €2,000 on new goalposts and training gear ahead of the new season. It was a relatively new club and no plan had been made for the money coming in and going out over the following months.
By October, the annual pitch hire bill arrived. As always, some members were slow to pay their membership fees for the year, leaving the club short on money. Training had to be cancelled for two weeks while the committee tried to sort out the shortfall.
