A line graph shows how something changes over time. It is used to spot trends.
Example: An Irish skincare brand tracked how many new followers it gained on Instagram each month for six months. A line graph showed fast growth that could be helpful if pitching to investors to show the potential of the business.
Infographic
An infographic combines short text, numbers and images to summarise the main findings in one picture. It is useful for presenting key results quickly on social media or to investors.
Example: A start-up could use an infographic to highlight the top three findings of its research: the most popular product, the average price customers would pay, and the main reason they buy it.
All graphs and graphics should have a title, have all axes labelled with what is being measured, and be drawn to scale.
