Closing cash is the amount of cash a household expects to have at the end of each month. It is calculated by adding the net cash for that month to the opening cash for that month.
Closing cash = Net cash plus Opening cash

Total Expenditure (B) Net Cash (A-B) Opening Cash Closing Cash
Apr

The closing cash for April is €760 –
calculated by adding the net cash of €350 to the opening cash of €410 for April
May
3,200 2,900 300 760
Jun
2,800 4,200
(1,400) Jul
4,000 2,760 1,240
Total
