In 2024, the Saint Louis County Department of Justice Services reaffirmed its commitment to transforming the Justice Center into a model facility for jails across the country.


The collective efforts of staff members, partners, and jail residents showcases the department’s dedication to innovation, rehabilitation, and community engagement. This year, the department was recognized by its partner, St. Louis Community College, for the work done in the Progress Attained through College Education program, which provides inmate residents with opportunities to further their education and skills.
