74 COMPACT LEDS PIXEL PERFECT FOR IN-SHOT APPEARANCES

Aputure/Amgreat Europe BY DAVID FOX

Aputure has expanded its range of compact LED lights with the MC Pro mini panel and three Infi nibar modular pixel bar lights. The 5W RGBWW MC Pro is four times brighter than the previous Aputure MC, with a tighter 45º beam angle and a 96 TLCI rating. It weighs 247g and features durable IP65-rated dust-proof and waterproof construction. For control there is LumenRadio

CRMX and Sidus Link. The built-in rechargeable 15.5Wh battery has a two-hour life at max output. The MC Pro is available in an eight- light kit, which includes a case with drop-in charging for each light. The Infi nibar RGBWW system comes in 30cm, 60cm or 120cm lengths, which can be connected end-to-end with no visible gaps, using 10 splicing connectors to create different shapes. They have built-in batteries (up to two hours at max output), but the power-sharing connectors allow multiple Infi nibars to use a single power supply.

SWISSCOM DEPLOYS FIRST LARGE-SCALE CDVR

Ateme BY ADRIAN PENNINGTON

Magic wand: The Fiveray V60 LED

Zhiyun Tech BY DAVID FOX

The new palm-sized Molus G200 200W COB video light extends the range of Molus LED lights from Zhiyun. Also being introduced is the Fiveray V60 LED light wand.

The G200 can be boosted to 300W in a one-press Max Extreme mode, which also boosts the V60 to 100W. They both use Zhiyun’s proprietary DynaVort cooling to prevent overheating and fl ickering.

The 2.2kg G200 comes with a small controller that offers a range

of lighting functions and effects plus fi ve pre-set dimming levels. A music mode syncs its lighting to the beat of music. The Max boost increases its output from 9460 lux (without refl ector) at 1m to 13,800 lux. It has a CCT range of 2700K-6500K, with a TLCI rating of at least 97.

The Fiveray V60 follows the existing Fiveray F100 stick light, and users can switch to Max mode by connecting the V60 to a 24V DC power adapter. It has a CCT range of 2700K-6500K, with a TLCI of 98+. There are multiple light effects, including music mode, and many accessories for shaping the light. 11.B26

The telco wanted to

streamline its operations, optimise its hardware pool and achieve greater scalability for blue TV. Ateme’s solution includes the NEA Genesis enabling CDVR and time-shifted TV services in the public cloud. The package also includes Ateme’s NEA packaging and CDN solutions, complementing

previously deployed virtualised Titan transcoders. Marco Lötscher, Head of

Technology Group at Swisscom TV & Smart Products, said: “Since subscribers watch and record more and more content, we needed a scalable solution that would allow us to follow this growth, without being capped by on-premises investments. Ateme’s cloud- native solutions are perfectly aligned with our vision.” Yoann Poizeau, VP EMEA, Ateme, said: “It’s an honour for us to have been chosen to work with AWS to help Swisscom migrate blue TV’s CDVR service to the cloud, so it can continue to captivate its audience and further strengthen its brand.” 1.D33
