28 LESSONS TO BE LEARNT ON THE CONTENT EVERYWHERE STAGE
The Content Everywhere programme continues today on Stage 1, sponsored by LTN, with a programme of panel discussions and product demonstrations devised to help IBC visitors explore different aspects of the delivery and consumption of content over the internet. The themes of churn management and customer retention will once again be touched upon today, starting with ‘Launching TV Experiences in the Face of Monetisation Model and Connected TV Fragmentation’ at 10:45-11.30. This will be followed by ‘OTT Lessons from Around the World’ at 12:45.
In the decade since Content Everywhere launched at IBC, online video consumption has become a fact of everyday life for millions of households worldwide. As the market continues to grow, new monetisation models are emerging and Connected TVs have become
a key battleground for offering viewers the ultimate experience. In ‘OTT Lessons from Around the World’, a panel of industry leaders will discuss the ways in which video service providers can succeed in what is an increasingly competitive marketplace.
In between the panels, a cross- section of Content Everywhere exhibitors will present short demonstrations of new technologies, products and services. Elsewhere in Hall 5, nearly 150 companies – ranging from some of the biggest names in tech and media to innovative start-ups – are exhibiting. Amazon Web Services, Comcast Technology Solutions, Amagi, LTN Global, SEI Robotics and Zixi occupy the biggest stands in Hall 5, while some 40 companies large and small from across the world are making their debuts at IBC as part of the Content Everywhere community.
Monetisation and fragmentation will be discussed today
Content Everywhere sessions run on Stage 1 from 10:15-13:30 today in Hall 5. They are free to attend. For full listings, turn to page 33.
