Most beautiful in the world
A 1930s beauty reborn into a 21st century classic has been crowned the ‘most beautiful hotel in the world’. The former Résidence de la Pinède in Saint-Tropez, now
the Cheval Blanc Saint-Tropez and operated under the LVMH umbrella, made the top spot in the prestigious ranking compiled by CNTraveler, which calls it “an old school charmer transformed into a modern wonder on the world’s sexiest stretch of sand”. A short distance from the centre of town, the elegance of the setting is enhanced by the unfussy luxury of the interiors by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, which are punctuated with local Provençal touches.
