Individual Epoxy Resins - 20g
These replacement transparent colours have already been mixed with clear resin. Only hardener is required. They can be blended to make various shades. 2 parts coloured resin to 1 part hardener. Supplied in 20g plastic dropper bottle.
This Thixotropic gel resin is for using on domed pieces, like rings & bangles. not suitable for flat surfaces. The resin is clear but colour can be added. Use with gel Hardener, 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by weight.

A Guide to using Epoxy Resins
1 PREPARATION You will need • resin • Hardener • Mixing cup • Mixing Stick • Scales
2 MIXING RATIO – 2 : 1 by weight important, accuracy is vital. as much as 2% out could affect the finish and cause soft spots.
3 HOW TO MIX • Place the cup on the scales. • Pour the amount of resin you want into the cup (may include the colour paste).
• Pour the hardener into the cup (half the weight of the resin).
• Using a broad spatula, stir carefully until fully mixed. Mix firmly but not briskly. • apply enamel to the surface.

4 CLEAN ENVIRONMENT: Dust particles or the odd hair will seriously affect the piece.
5 WARMING: generally room temperature is ok for curing.
6 APPLICATION resins generally will stop flowing at the edge of whatever you are applying them to. if you are applying them to jewellery, a small upstand will help to keep the resin in place.
7 YOUR WELL BEING always use an apron, lab coat or similar to protect your clothes. Use a good skin protection cream such as arreTil. resin will come off easily with a safe hand cleaner such as reSSOlVe .
