Epoxy enamelling resin (also known as cold enamel) offers a wide range of colours and effects without the need for a kiln. Epoxy resin is supplied in two parts, resin and hardener, which are mixed together to form a mixture which will cure into a hard, shiny surface. As well as metals, including silver and copper, epoxy resin can also be used on materials such as wood, cardboard, hardboard, glass, polythene sheet and some plastics (NOT suitable for use on PVC, soft plastics or rubber).
Individual Coloured Epoxy Resin Pastes
These resin pastes create beautifully coloured cabochons, moulded shapes and cold enamel effects. Opaque colour pastes can also be mixed together like paints for an endless range of colour possibilities.
* These colours have been remixed with Resin. Only hardener is required.

The opaque paste should not exceed more than 5% of the resin weight. 2 parts resin mix (including colour paste) should be mixed with 1 part hardener, measured by weight rather than volume. any imbalance in the formula may prevent the resin from setting / hardening. Once the paste is mixed wih resin and hardener, the enamel will begin to set 45 minutes after mixing. The enamel takes 24 hours to completely cure.
