Made of ceramic (unglazed) and approx. 4" in diameter and used with a Borax Bar or cone and water to form a paste. due to the ceramic texture, when the bar is moved in a circular motion on the botom of the dish, fine deposits of the bar are left in the water, thus forming a flux paste. Can also be used to mix other fluxes. Always ensure the dish is clean - any 'foreign' sub- stances mixed with the flux may affect the soldering process.
999 AAI Price/£: 4.75 A. Borax Bar & Cone
Borax bars are made from compact, dried flux and are used with water to create a paste, suitable for soldering precious and non-precious metals. Pour a small amount of water into a Borax dish (999 AAi) and grind the bar with slight pressure to form your paste (the paste should be a dense consistency for it to be effective on your solder join). simply brush the paste onto your join using a Flux Brush (946 010) along with your required solder and you're ready to go!

Provides standard silver with protection against fire stain when annealing and soldering.
998 116 Borax Powder - 1 Kg E. Tenacity No. 5 Powder, 250g
• This flux overlaps with Easy-Flo but is better suited when prolonged heating is necessary • its disadvantage is a glassy residue which is insoluble in water and must be removed using caustic soda or mechanical methods • Needs to be mixed to a paste with water
PZZ 050 Price/£: 19.94 F. F. Easy-Flo Flux Powder
• This flux is suitable for low temperature soldering • The powder is mixed with water to form a paste. This can then be added to the paste created by a borax cone to aid the flow of solder • residue is removed in hot water
