art clay paper is ideal for creating 3d folded designs such as origami or Quilled Jewellery. it can be easily bent, folded and cut creating clean and beautiful edges that do not crack. it is advised not to add additional moisture to the surface as this can cause the paper to disintegrate. repair with art clay paste after firing, and store unused art clay paper in the original packaging at room temperature. kiln fire only. place into a cold kiln and fire at full ramp, either to 850°c holding for 20 minutes or 800°c for 30 minutes. once fired, art clay paper can be hallmarked as fine silver (.999). it has a shrinkage rate of 10%. this art clay paper is approx. 0.60mm thick.

ON THE BENCH
ART CLAY COPPER can be fired in a kiln at 970°C for 30 minutes. the shrinkage rate is approximately 9-10%. can be fired with a torch. no activated carbon or firing pan is required. after firing, remove & quench in water. this will remove the firescale created during the firing. For heavy firescale you need to immerse in pickle.
