The tape is applied directly onto your metal, using the top edge of the tape as a guide for where your would like the bottom edge of your design. Place your chosen metal stamp on the metal and lightly drag it down until you feel the bottom of the punch catch the edge of your tape. Hold the punch in place and stamp. Repeating this for each letter will result in all of your letters lining up perfectly.
