Procedure: Weigh and Heat Part A to 75°C in bain-marie. Weigh and mix Part B. Pour Part B into Part A with normal rotor stator stirring for one hour. Weigh and heat Part C to 75°C in bain-marie. Active Part A+B with a very strong rotor stator stirring during 1 min. Add Part C into Part A+B, with rapid rotor stator stirring. Weigh and add Part D, to the previous part, mix well. Weigh and add Part E to the previous part, to around 45°C, mix well. Weigh and add Part F to the previous part, mix well. Properties: Appearance: Off-white opaque viscous cream pH: 5.80 ± 0.5 Viscosity: 300.000 cps ± 10% Sp.93, 2.5rpm, 1 min, 25°C, Brookfield DV-I Prime Stability: 3 months at 4°C, 25°C, 45°C and 1 month at 50°C Centrifuge 10min @ 3000rpm and 1 x -80°C/+25°C 24 hours freeze-thaw cycle and autoclave 20min @120°C

Procedure; Combined Hot/Cold Process: Mix Phase O I and heat up to 80 °C, stir for 15 min and disperse Hallbrite EZ-FLO ZDX with 15,000 rpm (Beaker A). Heat Phase W I to 60 °C (Beaker B). Add Phase O II to Phase O I (Beaker A) and heat it up to 85 °C stir for 15 min. Add Phase W II (LignoGuard®) into Phase W I (Beaker B) homogenize at 10,000 rpm (30 s). Add Oil Phase (Beaker A) into the Water Phase (Beaker B) and homogenize at 10,000 rpm (~3 min). After 3 min add Phase W III into the formula and homogenize at 10,000 rpm (~1 min). Cool down under low stirring.

Procedure: Combine Phase A ingredients and heat to 80 – 85°C. Combine Phase B ingredients and heat to 80 – 85°C. Once both Phases are at temperature, add Phase B to A and mix at high speed until emulsion is smooth. When emulsion is smooth, start cooling with slower mixing. At 50 °C or under, add citric acid slowly to prevent foaming. Add remaining Phase C ingredients. Cool to 45°C or under and pour into containers. Properties: Stability: Three months at 45°C, three months at RT, Three months Freeze/Thaw cycles.
