An SPF 30 sunscreen for the face, developed with mineral UV filters only, Natural Luminosity Sunscreen offers daily broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and is packed with moisture to keep skin healthy and youthful. Thanks to the presence of Olivem® 2090, the formula is easily distributed and transparent, while keeping the skin barrier nourished. All-natural SolaPure™ Glo leverages curcumin’s benefits to improve sun protection’s SPF and PFA performance and control hyperpigmentation. In vitro analysis suggests SPF ~38, PFA (PPD COLIPA 2011) ~ 12 and critical wavelength 371 nm. 99% of this formulation’s content is of natural origin.

Procedure: To the main vessel, add phase A and mix until uniform, then add phase B and heat it to 80-85°C. Prepare phase C separately and heat it up to heat up 80-85°C. Add phase C to phase AB under stirrer at 250 rpm, keeping the temperature. Mix under stirrer for 2 minutes the phase ABC and then homogenize it, using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson) for 2 minutes. Cool down to 40°C under stirring (50 - 100 rpm). Add phases D and E and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson) for 1 minute.

This serum is formulated to provide intense hydration combined with light-touch sensation. Olive lipid-derived ingredients are able to create liquid crystals, while Olivem® 1000 and Olivem® LC promote barrier function and hydration. Sensolene® Light ET and Eurol® BT, with their moisturizing and soothing effects, make the serum highly suitable even for the most sensitive skin. It is also infused with anti-oxidating and anti-inflammatory Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice to calm irritated skin and CLEAR Oléoactif® acts as anti-blemish ingredient.

Procedure: In the main vessel prepare phase A and disperse the thickener using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson) and heat up to 80-85°. In a secondary vessel, prepare phase B and heat it up to 75-80°C. Add phase B to phase A and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). Gently stir to cool down. Add phase C and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). Adjust the pH to under 5.5.
