SUPPLIERS


This is a non-aerosol dry shampoo will leave you feeling refreshed and provide volume in just a few gentle puffs. It uses Amaze™ Nordic Barley starch to absorb any sebum or oils and leave the hair feeling silky smooth. Additionally, TAPIOCA PURE starch is added to provide additional sebum absorption and removal.

Procedure: Begin by charging all the required Magnesium Stearate along with equal parts of Amaze™ Nordic Barley starch and TAPIOCA PURE starch to a blending vessel, sealing, and then gently blend the powders together. After blending, continue to add equal parts of Amaze™ Nordic Barley starch and TAPIOCA PURE starch, blending between additions, until all of the TAPIOCA PURE starch has been added. Once all of the TAPIOCA PURE starch has been added, charge the remaining Amaze™ Nordic Barley starch and blend the mixture for several minutes to ensure even dispersion of the powders. When complete, carefully pour starches into final containers, taking care to avoid the formation of powder clouds. Properties: White, Free-Flowing Powder

Procedure: Begin by charging all the required Magnesium Stearate along with equal parts of Amaze™ Nordic Barley starch and TAPIOCA PURE starch to a blending vessel, sealing, and then gently blend the powders together. After blending, continue to add equal parts of Amaze™ Nordic Barley starch and TAPIOCA PUrsion of the powders. When complete, carefully pour starches into final containers, taking care to avoid the formation of powder clouds. White, Free-Flowing Powder. One at a time, add all UV filters and emollients to a beaker under moderate mixing and begin heating to 75-80°C.


Once the phase reaches ˜65°C, switch to a homogenizer and add remaining ingredients. Continue heating to 75-80°C. Add Phase B to Phase A under strong homogenization (˜6,000 rpms.). Homogenize for 10 minutes, return to a lower mixing speed (˜3,500), and remove from heat. Continue homogenizing until 45°C. Once the batch reaches 45C, add phase STRUCTURE® XL starch under very light homogenization until incorporated. Switch the batch to an overhead mixer. Slurry Amaze™ Nordic


Barley with the propanediol and add into the batch. Continue mixing until all ingredients are incorporated. Use citric acid to adjust to pH 6.0-7.0. Switch the batch to a U-blade and sweep at 25 rpms until the batch reaches room temperature. Properties: pH: 6.5-7.5, Brookfield Viscosity: 20,000-30,000 cps, C spindle, 10 rpms, 25°C, Appearance: White, emulsion
