Procedure: To begin the batch charge all the water in Phase A into the main mixing vessel. Once the water is added begin mixing with propeller agitation, adjusting the mixing until you are pulling a vortex two-thirds of the way down the mixing shaft. Slowly sift into the side of the vortex the AMAZE® SP polymer. Once the AMAZE SP is dissolved Add the AMP regular. Slowly sift into the side of the vortex the AMAZE XT polyme and begin heating to 80°C. To Prepare Phase B: While Phase A is heating, in a second beaker add all the ingredients in Phase B. When all the ingredients are in the beaker heat this phase to 80°C and allow them to melt mixing by hand while the surfactants melt. Once both Phase A and Phase B have reached 80°C. Add Phase

B to Phase A with high shear mixing (˜900 rpm). Maintain the main beaker’s temperature at 80°C for 10 minutes with strong agitation. Once the mixing time of ten minutes has been reached, begin cooling the batch. While that cools prepare Phase C. Once the batch has reached 60°C add the ingredients in phase C to the main mixing vessel, mixing well between each addition. Once the Ingredients are dispersed place the batch on the silverson mixer with emulsifying head for 3 minutes at 6000rpm. Properties: pH: 7.48, Appearance: Creamy White Emulsion, Brookfield Viscosity: 20,000-30,000 Cps Spindle C, 10rpm, 25°C
