Can you share how long you've been with Advantech and provide a brief overview of your career journey so far?

I’ve been with Advantech for 8 years as the Global Product Sales Manager, based in the UK but supporting all our strategic global locations. Primarily, I support our global sales teams within the Gaming Vertical, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our customers worldwide, as well as liaise with manufacturing and operational colleagues in Taiwan. My career to date has been customer- and solutions-focused, encompassing Sales, Marketing, and New Business generation roles.

What unique qualities or strategies set Advantech apart from the competition in the global gaming industry?

diverse, industry-specific product portfolio. Our DPX range is continuously updated with the latest chipset technologies, discrete graphics cards, and advanced security features.

In addition to our own innovations, we collaborate with other ecosystem partners—whether it’s cabinet builders, software integrators, or third- party providers—to ensure seamless integration and a complete solution for our customers.

What significant trends are you currently observing or predicting in the gaming market?

Current trends are being driven by players wanting new and exciting gaming experiences. As a result, particularly in US markets, customers are investing in and upgrading their hardware designs to include high- end CPU processing power from both AMD and Intel, as well as enhancing graphics capabilities with the latest embedded graphics cards, ensuring the best possible performance for the next generation of gaming experiences.

Considering the market dynamics, what crucial advice would you offer to new operators or vendor entrants to the market in general?

Reliability in both manufacturing and supply chain/vendor partnerships is crucial. Whether you wholly own your manufacturing facilities, as Advantech does, or subcontract, ensuring robust and reliable processes is key to success, since gaming customers demand consistency of supply,
