NAME Liene Steinerte ROLE Account Manager EMEIA START DATE WITH GLI March 1, 2022 COUNTRY OF BIRTH I was born and raised in Riga, Latvia COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE I have lived in Te Netherlands since 2014, when I did my Bachelor studies in a small city called Vlissingen. LANGUAGES My mother tongue is Latvian, but I also speak English and Spanish, as well as learning Dutch. REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES I cover EMEIA and North America regions. EXPERTISE/BACKGROUND My background before joining GLI was mainly in sales. I did work for a year as a Presentation Scheduler for a company which provided media schedules for TV channels, and prior to that, I worked as a sales representative for a tourism company that is focused on providing events for corporate and private
parties. Te iGaming industry was something completely new and different for me, but I was also more attracted and drawn to it as I always enjoy learning new things, and growing as a person as well as a professional. HOBBIES/INTERESTS I love travelling, meeting new people, and exploring new countries and cultures. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking. WHY DID YOU JOIN GLI? As I already had a background in sales and a passion for helping people, I thought that GLI would be a perfect fit for me. Plus, I have always loved to learn new things and iGaming really interested me as a new career path to explore. WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR ROLE? We have amazing individuals working in each department, and it is so nice and inspiring to be working with people from all over the world. I have a chance to learn from the best within the industry. Moreover, I enjoy helping people, and I strongly
believe that within my role I can put my skills into practise and deliver a great service. WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR ROLE? When I joined GLI back in 2022, I started in a sales support role. It was more administrative, but I already learned a lot about the company. Last year, I got promoted to join the sales team as Key Accounts Sales to help support some of the biggest clients GLI has, and to learn more about iGaming and how to manage the accounts. I was working closely with Simona Dutto and Jakub Stefka in the GLI EMEIA sales team. Ten, in August 2024, I was promoted to an Account
Manager EMEIA position. I am still working with Simona and Jakub to support key accounts and look forward to having some of my own clients in the future. WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES? As I enjoy doing puzzles and escape rooms, the challenges we face within GLI only excites me and makes me love my job even more. I would say that the biggest challenge is to meet the deadlines that the clients have set for their product launches. Tey can be challenging, but we always aim to provide the certifications on time so there is no delay to the launch. WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING WITH CLIENTS? I love finding the right solutions to help our clients achieve their goals, seeing them happy with our services, and seeing how our relationships are growing and how the trust is built. Nowadays, trust is everything in a good business, and when you see that your clients trust you, it is a great feeling.

environment. My journey at GLI has only just begun and I am so excited to see where it will lead. WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR ROLE? As an Account Manager, my role involves ensuring that all requests are handled smoothly and promptly, as well as making sure our customers are satisfied with the service we provide. WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES? We are seeing game complexities increasing and time to market decreasing. However, as GLI is a truly global organisation this enables us to deliver against these challenges. We have people across multiple time zones. Tat means if required, a client’s submission can be worked on 24/7.
