Fredrik advises that companies do all in their power to avoid having sanctioned money coming through their system through IP blocking and other sophisticated methods. Pondering we will see more allegations hit the industry by the time this year’s SBC Summit Barcelona takes place in September, Fredrik says that if you're the NJDGE or any other regulator and you're going to go for someone, you go for the big one.

STARTING OUT


Whilst Fredrik wouldn't describe himself in such terms, he is one of iGaming's visionary leaders and commands great respect within the industry. Yggdrasil's CEO started out in a family run business in the catering sector that sells fish in fish markets and owns several restaurants in Stockholm. "A lot of gaming directors have frequented my family's joints in Stockholm and enjoyed several buckets of caviar and champagne!"


After this grounding, Fredrik moved into fast moving consumer goods where he was drilled in selling and promoting with American companies, giving him an awareness of global operations. Whilst it was fast moving goods, Fredrik felt it wasn't moving fast enough.
