INSIGHT ELECTRONIC TABLE GAMES INTERBLOCK

So when you think about table games today, the image of a dealer at a live table within a land-based casino isn’t the majority view. There's still a lot of players that enjoy that. But if you want to grow, we have to figure out how we cater to the hundreds of billions of dollars being generated online. We need to figure out how we get the player to the casino and give them an experience that matches their expectations.

Human intervention has its limitations in terms of speed. Whereas online goes faster. Much faster. So we're finding some players when they come to the casino floor, they’re looking for a seamless, faster gaming experience, which is good for us.

So, there's a company that does live streaming and table names. Tat company, for all intents and purposes started about 17 years ago. Te company's market cap until recently, was US$30bn. It's bigger than Caesars. It's bigger than MGM. It's bigger than most operators. And this company started less than two decades ago. And all they did was point a camera at a table, and they streamed it to a person on their phone, which is crazy, right?

Millions of people around the world play table games streamed from thousands of miles away, dealt by a dealer they don’t know, and will never meet. And the interface is constantly improving and people's mindsets are continually evolving.

So when you think about table games today, the image of a dealer at a live table within a land-based casino isn’t the majority view. Tere's still a lot of players that enjoy that, but if you want to grow (because the traditional casino sector coming out of COVID has had a nice run, but its starting to plateau), we have to figure out how we cater to the hundreds of billions of dollars being generated online. We need to figure out how we get the player to the casino and give them an experience that matches their expectations.

ONLINE VERSUS LAND-BASED PLAY

We need to take all our of years of experience in the land-based sector, collectively take best practices, and evolve quickly to draw those online players to our casinos. And when they leave our casinos, we use our technology to continue to connect with them and draw them back.

Te good news, as I travel around the world, I meet with operators that are evolving. And quickly. Tey're seeing what's happening. Tey're investing. Tey're creating Free to Play sites to get their players activated. Tey're building their databases, they're preparing for the next stage. So I believe that the land- based sector will ultimately prevail in the integration of online and land-based.

Te reason I’m so confident is because content is king, and we have the content. We have the innovation. We have the experience. Te question is, how do we apply ourselves to the online space and bridge that gap for the player so that when they leave the casino, having played our games, they go online and continue to play with us?

At Interblock we’ve been working on the technology to provide this content. And as it's starting to make its way to the casinos on the Strip, I'm very interested to see who sits down; how long they stay, how often they visit. And if what we hope happens, we believe we're heading in the right direction from a table game perspective to bridge that gap between other forms of entertainment and technology. We are bringing that technology to the casino floor in a manner that players will accept. It’s pretty radical. Removing chips from pits isn't an easy task, but the indications are positive.

PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE

In France right now, in the wine growing region of Bordeaux, every vineyard is tearing up a section of their generations-old plantation to plant new vines. Everybody is testing different varietals because of climate change. Tey're afraid in 20 years, that their current crop won't survive. So they're willing to take a section of their estate to prepare themselves for the future and I encourage casinos to do the same. Tey need to budget and plan strategically to give their

It’s in its infancy right now, but by this time next year, we're hoping to have enough data from around the world of what and how players are playing, to begin making more strategic data driven decisions.

When you sit down at a machine, can it adjust to the rate of play that matches the player? Can it gauge your knowledge of the game, your desire, how quickly do you would want to play? And the game will adjust itself accordingly. So we create a more user friendly environment for individuals when they visit the casino floor, just as you find online.

Tis year at G2E Interblock demonstrated the company’s dedication to innovation. With the same forward thinking that led to the products unveiled on this year’s expo floor, Interblock will continue to push the boundaries, revolutionizing the business landscape and delivering unparalleled entertainment to casinos and players alike. Interblock’s presence at G2E demonstrated the company’s position as a world-class leader in the industry. Te company plans to use this position to drive the industry to the future of gaming.
