INSIGHT ELECTRONIC TABLE GAMES INTERBLOCK
Interblock concluded a successful exhibition at this year's Global Gaming Expo (G2E). At G2E, Interblock unveiled a series of products, headlined by its Smart Pit technology. Tis ETG technology integrates into live pits, empowering dealers with more decisions per hour, ensuring accurate payouts with chip- less technology, reduces labour costs by optimising dealer to player ratios.
Beyond its headline innovation, Interblock's booth featured a diverse array of additional ETG products. Tese included Bonus Wheel Roulette, a dual wheel bonus system which increases betting opportunities, Reel Roulette, granting players the chance to win up to 1000x their bet, and Pick2Win Craps, which enables players to choose their dice and have a level of control previously unseen in the ETG segment.
At the booth, Interblock also demonstrated the new Tournament feature on the popular Pulse Arena. Unlike traditional Interblock games where players face off against the house, Tournaments introduce a twist with participants competing against each other.
Alongside these products, Interblock introduced a LED signage package for the company’s Universal Cabinets. Tis new package deploys Interblock’s signature Immersion Technology to fully engage players with animations. Multiple cabinets on the same floor can communicate to show the same images.
Earlier this year, Interblock acquired a section of Aruze Gaming’s ETG assets. Tose recently acquired products, including Lucky Roulette, Roll to Win Craps and Shoot to Win Craps, were also displayed at Interblock’s G2E booth.
In addition to Interblock’s showcase on the expo floor, Global CEO of Interblock, John Connelly, gave an insightful presentation entitled “Transforming Table Games Trough Technology” on Monday, Oct. 9. Connelly explored the way technological advancements have impacted the gaming sector and transformed table games.
Connelly's insights were met with widespread acclaim and seen as highly relevant in the ever-evolving landscape of gaming. After his presentation, Connelly had a fireside chat about the future of gaming. Te following is an abstract from John Connelly’s presentation and discussion at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
TRANSFORMING TABLE GAMES THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
I understand that the idea of a chipless land- based casino is alien to many people, but I'm old enough to remember conversations about removing coins from slots. Everyone said that was crazy, but today we all use paper tickets and coins have completely disappeared from casino floors.
Another comparison is with online. Tey don't use physical chips in the online space, and yet billions and billions of dollars are played every day upon online table games. And so when those players visit a physical casino, are they not going to play because there are no chips?
I think we're starting to prove to ourselves as an industry that table games can evolve, and that perhaps we need to start trying new things. Admittedly, it's going to be tough, because there's lot of compliance, regulatory

and historical complexity, plus we're an industry that's grown accustomed to playing it safe. However, at G2E this year the industry recognised that technology is the driver of change, and company's like Interblock are really pushing that barrier.
I see the challenge from online and I'm worried, because Interblock is a company that makes its money from the traditional casino sector. We are entering the online space, but we need to work very, very hard very, very quickly, to prepare ourselves for online gaming and the revolution that is happening as players increasingly play online. As an industry we must be ready with the products and offerings that are conducive to this audience’s expectations. Not everyone is going to make that leap, but even if it's 20 per cent, growing to 30 per cent, going to 40 per cent. I see in the next 10 years a complete merging together of the online and traditional casino space, of both players, products, content and distribution.
If you play a live table game online today, the live streaming quality is remarkable. Te lack of latency versus just 48 months ago changes the experience immeasurably. Now envision
