Seeing the system in operation, with Resorts World explaining the functionality, meant that we talked about the important decision-making details that mattered to each of our EMEA customers. I was told that if the operational costs, security and increase in revenue all align, then these are the key points for operators. Te tour also answered a major question from European operators regarding scalability.
Dave: A question I hear often is: "can you handle what I have?" Whether you're an operator of many small locations, have a single large-scale operation, or a multinational with resorts around the world, etc., we understand the challenge that scalability presents to operators. Especially as in the past, casino systems have struggled with scale at the regional, single site, resorts and club levels.
FUZION was designed from the outset to work on a single bank of machines, all the way up to Resorts World-sized locations. We built that functionality into the system architecture because we knew the market in Germany is totally different from the market in the UK, or in Spain. And then you come to the States, whereby we have casinos with 6,000-7,000 slots, so it's essential that the system is architected to support that scale. At Resorts World, they're running around 1,400 games. At Firekeepers in Michigan they're operating around 3,000 games. So you build for scale from the outset, as you can't adjust the architecture as you go. We made it the right way from the beginning.
