September, 2021 True Dual-Cure Epoxy from EpoxySet
WOONSOCKET, RI — EpoxySet has intro- duced its Flashbond® UV-3607HT, a truly dual-cure epoxy that can be cured with UV energy, with heat, or both. This one-part system can be cured with
365 LED light in under 10 seconds or at 257°F (125°C) in about 30 minutes. It does not have to be activated with UV light to cure, making it distinct from other “dual- cure” epoxies. The unique curing mechanism makes UV-
3607HT a perfect choice for applications re- quiring a fast tack and/or may have shadowed areas. It can be used as an adhesive, sealant, or coating in such applications as doming, fiber optic terminations, electronic packaging, sen-
sor sealing, optical alignment, etc. The UV-3607HT has a low cure shrink-
age and can be cured in thickness up to 0.08 in. (2 mm). This optically clear polymer pro- duces very strong bonds to glass, ceramics, metals, and most engineered plastics. EpoxySet is an innovative custom for-
mulator of epoxies, urethanes, silicones, thermal greases and UV cures for the elec- tronics, medical, semiconductor, optics, auto- motive, and aerospace industries. The company’s extensive experience al-
lows it to quickly modify products for any re- quirement. Contact: EpoxySet, Inc., 718 Park East

conventional wafer-type transduc- ers. The company has transferred that high performance technology to the Powersonic line of benchtop ultrasonic cleaners. This tabletop unit ensures
uniform cleaning throughout the tank by sweeping at 3 kHz, cre- ating overlapping ultrasonic waves. This approach eliminates inconsistent cleaning due to hot spots (areas of intense ultrasonic activity) in the cleaning solution. With in-house world-class
manufacturing, Whizz Systems is equipped to successfully de- sign, develop and manufacture the products that its customers need in today’s rapidly advanc- ing market. Whether a client has a single need or requires an en- tire suite of product design and development, Whizz Systems acts a partner and an extension of its clients’ resources. Contact: Whizz Systems,
