INGUN Launches Battery Test Clamp
Lake Wylie, SC — INGUN has launched its VKB-635 battery test clamp, which is designed with a sense line and temperature sensor and can transmit currents up to 100A. The VKB-635 is used for con- nection to 0.02 in. (0.5 mm) ±0.004 in. (±0.1 mm). Battery cell testing requires re-
liable, uninterrupted contact to en- sure quality. The VKB-635’s gold- plated sense contacts allow more re- liable contacting with low contact re- sistance. Due to its borehole, an op- tional temperature sensor can be in- tegrated. Two clamps (+/–) are re- quired to contact each battery cell. The clamps are connected using
four cables, which are included with a cross section of 0.004 in.2 (2.5 mm2).
The clamp is mounted through the borehole to the axis. The sense contact is connected by two cables with a cross section of 0.0008 in.2 (0.5 mm2).

Users can store hyper- links in their documentation that can later be scanned and opened with apps on mobile devices. The QR code also works on
printed documentation. Exchanging symbols in placeholder objects has also been simplified. They can now be replaced by selecting the appropri- ate value sets. Users benefit from greater transparency with fewer macro variants.
Layers management has been
made even easier as a dockable dia- logue and all changes are now saved automatically. Additional functional- ity, such as searching layers and changing their properties, is now possible. Now, it is easy to search a project for all objects that have been assigned to a particular layer in a project or subproject. Designers can then use the
Properties dialogue of a found object in the search results list to change the assignment of the layer they just searched for. This allows layers that were added to a project by DXF or DWG import to be easily found, quickly modified and used as user- defined layers. An additional benefit is that users can implement company standards with simple adaptations and definitions, analogous to the
