Hover-Davis Offers New Radial, Tube and Tray Feeders
Rochester, NY — Hover-Davis is now offering a range of radial, tube and tray feeders, developed in partner- ship with Universal Instruments. These feeders solve the packaging challenges of larger SMD and odd- form electronic components, such as relays, connectors, capacitors, LEDs, and more. Originally proven on Uni- versal’s Uflex™ and FuzionOF™ au- tomation systems, the company’s new odd-form feeders are now avail- able through Hover-Davis, with in- terface kits available for a wide range of automation system integra- tion applications. Hover-Davis is also offering ex-
panded material automation solu- tions for labels, solder/coating masks, and other die-cut materials. Through a distribution partnership with CCL Design Electronics, Hover-Davis pro- vides its customers with process opti- mized materials packaged with its AXIUM series feeders as a single- source, fully supported solution. Combined with CAB SQUIX Se-
ries 600 dpi industrial thermal trans- fer printers and accessories, the Hover-Davis supplied solutions can reliably automate high-temperature identification and masking material applications as small as 0.1 in. (3 x 3 mm), resulting in increased through- put, improved quality and reduced labor cost. CCL’s innovative 540 se- ries labels can be laser marked for high-contrast, real-time serialization during PCB assembly and rework.
SYNEO Launches Servo-Electric Connector Presses
West Palm Beach, FL — SYNEO has released its latest servo-electric press- es for automotive and ruggedized hous- ing applications. The company’s MEP- HS and MEP-HT incorporate an auto- matic positioning system in shuttle or rotary table configurations, with cus- tomized press tooling fixtures for fast and precise product presentation. The utilization of advanced ma-
chine vision ensures that there is proper pin penetration through the PCB, therefore verifying the termi- nation of each compliant pin. Fo- cused at the application of PCBs onto compliant pin housings and ruggedi- zed board applications, these sys- tems provide full control and moni- toring of press cycle force, distance and speed for quality assurance of every product applied. MEP-HS and MP-HT eliminate
excessive programming time and recipe migration by incorporating tools that include 1 Click Recipe Transfer, CAD Importation Software Module and Automatic Profile Generation. Au- tomatic Profile Generation allows the user to enter basic tooling information and the software will automatically generate the required profile to accu-
rately press the connector. Contact: SYNEO, 3875 Fiscal
